I guess this is from the Evening With DVD, and he’s specifically talking about this incident, when he went to a protest by some religious nuts, and ended up getting on the evening news.
Smith has a real talent for storytelling, and I’m going to have to get hold of one of his talk DVDs. I know Peter Knox raves about them, and is almost religious in his own devotion to Smith. I’m merely a big fan of all of his films, especially Clerks.
