I just did that thing of having a momentary panic as I went to drink from a bottle of milk, as the millisecond before any liquid reached my mouth I realised that I hadn’t sniffed the bottle as I opened it to check for freshness.
Does anyone else do that, or just me?

I always sniff before chugging. Bad things can happen when you don’t!

i obsessively check everything - but milk ALWAYS smells bad to me, so i need a backup sniff-checker for that.
