One of my favourite Tumblrs has called it a day. Giancarlo has reached the point in his custody battle where he no longer needs to raise the funds to pay for all of the fees involved, and so won’t be updating any more. For those of you who don’t know, Giancarlo has been going through an increasingly bitter divorce which unfortunately involves a prolonged custody battle for his two daughters. To read his blog is to feel your heart breaking into a thousand pieces. I highly recommend setting aside an hour and going through all of the archives. The posts regarding direct communication with his [Ex-Wife] are pretty nasty, but it’s the posts which reference and involve his children that really hit me hard. They genuinely look so happy, despite the situation they’re in. The sledging video moved me to tears. I know that we are only seeing one side of the story, and that however much he denies it, Giancarlo is painting a picture of himself in a positive light, but I can’t help myself in sympathising/supporting him. I donated a little bit of money to his fund a while back, and I hope it helped. I’ll leave the last word to the man himself: I really appreciate the feedback everyone has given me. I will be checking in every now and then with minimal updates. For now, goodbye; I wish you good luck with your projects. I’ll let you know how this turns out. giancarlo
