Beard-Watch: The Last Day It’s time to say goodbye to the beard, I’m afraid. I’m off on holiday tomorrow, and don’t want to tan the rest of my face while leaving a white ring around my mouth. That’ll mean I’ll have to keep the beard for the rest of the summer, which is a long-term commitment I’m not yet willing to make. So tonight I’ll be shaving it off, possibly shedding a tear as I do so. Although not really, as I am a manly man, etc. I might grow it back after the holiday. We shall see.
