You’ve got so much potential, but you’re not realising it yet
My boss, at lunchtime today.
I’m not sure if this was a criticism or not. Is that “realising” in the sense of not achieving/fulfilling the potential yet, or is it that I am not aware of how far I could go?
If it’s the latter, then it’s the closest thing I’ve had to outright criticism in the 11 months I’ve been at the job. If the latter, it’s something I know I need to improve on. I know I can do better, and that the opportunities are there, but I have some kind of mental block which prevents me from utilising or exploiting them.
