Every time non-London friends come to the city, they always want to go on the London Eye. This means I’ve been up on it at least 8 or 9 times now.
It’s great, don’t get me wrong, but there’s only so many times you can look at the same aerial view of London. But I highly recommend having a ride on it during the daytime and then again when it’s dark, as the city looks totally different.
This was on Saturday, and thankfully I was actually in the area to go on a boat ride with some Euro-friends, not the Eye itself.
