The opposite. I usually always seem to think a guy is “decent” after just meeting him or from first impressions then after getting to know him (i dont mean romantically, i just mean in general) i’m nearly always proven wrong. I give people way too much credit and have far too much faith in them.
Hmmm, that’s weird. I’m more of the type that I described. I’ve met a lot of people whom I thought were jerks straight off the bat, but turned out to be OK.
But of course, there’s a load of people who I slowly realised weren’t good to be around, for many different reasons. At first, they were great, but slowly the true personality comes out, and I put some distance between us.
I have to say you’ve been particularly unlucky if the majority of people you know are from the latter category. As a whole (makes sweeping generalisation about society), people are nice. Honest.
Except Stalin. He had his off days.
